Cedar State is a fictional forestry and timber service, owned by women but used by men. The logo and identity needed to combine a detail-oriented position with a strong knowledge of the industry. I approached the project with the intent of creating a letterhead and business card, but was able to design some other swag along the way.

The logo was able to manifest itself in lots of different ways throughout the project. The tree fit well into a triangle that came up again as patterns, and the type could stand alone on the business card. The subtle gradient shows the growth of the company, and the knowledge of the industry — timber stands don’t spring up overnight, and it’s up to a service like Cedar State to handle clients’ forests the best they can.
